Do you deliver?
Yes — we deliver orders of 3 yards or more. There's a $45 minimum delivery fee and distance-based charges apply. Off-season, call before 10:00 AM for same-day delivery.
What's the minimum?
Delivery starts at 3 yards. For pickup, many products are available by the half yard. Yard waste drop-offs under 1,000 lbs have a $25 minimum dumping fee.
Do you take credit cards?
We accept cash or check only, payable to "Barnside Farm Compost". We're sorry — no credit cards.
What yard waste do you accept?
Leaves, grass clippings, brush, bamboo, fill dirt with no contaminants, sod and topsoil, stumps, logs, manure and clean wood chips.
What's not accepted?
No concrete, asphalt, metal, plastic or trash. Contaminated loads carry a fee of $100 or more.
Is your compost certified?
Yes. Our compost is certified by the U.S. Composting Council and tested regularly to make sure there are no harmful pathogens.
Can you custom blend?
We can. Tell us what you're growing or building and we'll blend something that fits the application.
